Bemidji to Mpls - Shop Two and Three - 8/6

This was my first visit to Front Porch Quilts in Walker, Minnesota. She had a nice selection of lodge and lake themed fabrics and patterns. They didn't allow photos in the store, but the exterior lets you know there are great things inside. Their web address is www.frontporchquiltshop.com
Piecemakers Quilt Shop is located in Hackensack, Minnesota. The population is 287...proof that big things can exist in small towns! I love it! This shop is owned by the parents of a "Quilt Rock Star"! And guess what? She was in the store! She is Pam Curo creator of Cotton Tales patterns. Check out her patterns at www.cottontales.net! I have visited this shop many times in the past, and every visit is a delight!
Not only are the quilt projects inspiring, but so are the flowers outside the shop. I just had to take a picture of the Morning Glories...my grandmother always grew them...they are as beautiful as she was. No pictures inside the shop but check out their website at www.piecemakersquiltshop.com
